Pemerintah Kabupaten Barru kembali menggelar peringatan Hari Ulang Tahun (HUT) Kemerdekaan RI secara terbatas, hal ini sesuai arahan nasional ini demi mengurangi potensi kerumunan dan mengatasi lonjakan kasus Covid-19.

Untungnya, Pemda Barru telah mempersiapkan semua perangkat teknologi informatika dissmua perangkat daerah sampai ke tingkat Kecamatan, Kelurahan dan Desa, sehingga prosesi sakral ini, dapat dinikmati dan disimak oleh segenap lapisan.

Tahun ini peringatan ke 76 HUT RI Tahun 2021, digelar di Halaman Kantor Bupati Barru, Selasa (17/8/2021).

Bupati Barru Ir. H. Suardi Saleh, M.Si dengan menggunakan Pakaian Putih Lengkap selaku Kepala Daerah menjadi Inspektur Upacara, Ketua DPRD Barru Lukman T membacakan teks proklamasi serta Kepala Kementerian Agama Dr. H. Jamaruddin, S.Ag, M.Ag membacakan doa.

“Ya Allah, Tuhan Yang Maha Pemurah, negeri ini punya cita-cita, mudahkanlah dalam menggapainya, hindarkanlah bangsa kami dari bencana dan marabahaya, angkatlah pandemi Covid-19 ini, agar kami dapat beraktivitas secara normal, teguhkanlah rasa cinta tanah air, tumbuh suburkan tenggang rasa, solidaritas antar sesama, gotong royong membangun bangsa, sehingga Indonesia tumbuh, Indonesia bangkit dapat terwujud,” sebut Kepala Kantor Kemenag Barru yang diaminkan segenap peserta yang tertunduk khidmat baik di lapangan maupun yang sedang mengikuti di kantor masing-masing.

Sesuai aturan  Pemerintah terkait peringatan Hari Ulang Tahun (HUT) ke-76 RI ini diselenggarakan dengan menerapkan protokol kesehatan ketat dengan tamu undangan sangat terbatas. Sementara OPD dalam lingkup Pemkab Barru juga menggelar di Kantor masing dan  masyarakat dapat mengikuti upacara secara virtual dan live streaming melalui akun YouTube Barru Chanel.

Sang Saka Merah Putih pun berkibar di puncak tiang bendera tertinggi di Kabupaten Barru, dengan Pasukan Pengibar Bendera (Paskibra) yang dikukuhkan sebelumnya, berhasil melaksanakan tugasnya dengan sempurna.
